Gilberto Vergara serves as President and Founder of SYLIS Property Management, LLC & SYLIS Real Estate, LLC (Collectively known as SYLIS). Mr. Vergara founded SYLIS in 2006 and, alongside his father (now partner), began his journey into Real Estate. As a young boy, Mr. Vergara would spend his afternoons and Saturdays, working along side his father’s rental units, painting, trashing out, or just simply shadowing his father. Always having an appeal for numbers and financial data, he quickly picked up and soon thrived in Commercial Real Estate. His primary focus is Multi-Family asset management, but recently has expanded out to Commercial Retail and Real Estate Development.
In 2004 his portfolio consisted of 1 property with 49 units and as of today those figures have transformed to 12 properties with over 2,000 rental units and 42,000 square feet of retail space. Mr. Vergara has been involved in the ownership & management of over 3,000 units, brokered several multifamily and retail transactions and has been directly responsible for an estimated asset value of over $100 Million.
